The fundamental tragedy of human consciousness seems to be how easy and appealing it is to fall into an ideology, whether religious, political or cultural, which enables you to feel self-righteous, to be certain you know "what's what", and to be able to hate and blame somebody other than yourself for all the trouble in the world. Admittedly I am in the UK, fortunately for me, not North America, but we do have plenty of this ideological claptrap around here too. I am old enough to remember when, say, 35 to 40 years ago - despite the fact that the humourless tedium of "political correctness" was still on the rise - we appeared to have arrived at a situation, as part of the ongoing evolution of civilization, in which there was more respect for women's rights and less racism than there had ever been before. It was really good and all moving in the right directions. And then we got all the madness about mythical "institutionalised" sins and "equity" (which wasn't at all equitable) and "colonialist" horrors, as if the eyes with which we see the past had become forced to view through some kind of psychedelic kaleidoscope which could see nothing fairly, reasonably, clearly, truthfully, wisely - forgivingly, perhaps, as we see further than those whose shoulders we stand on, and we can't blame them for that. What can I say? Keep telling the truth.
Heather MacDonald has written extensively on this subject. Excellent article. What is sad about this phenomena is it shows little regard for black victims of crime, and for the unhealthy sense of resentment and anger it engenders in black communities. It furthers feelings of resentment towards white folk, and justifies it, and does nothing towards creating the society of equality envisioned by Dr. Martin Luther King.

It seems as if Jews are considered white one moment, non-white the next -- highlighting the arbitrary nature of racial distinctions in the first place.
That is a really great question and to be honest I wanted to address it in this piece (but ran out of space and time). I have touched on it in previous articles, and will do in future ones. Very high level summary is, it is ultimately not good for jews if ideology trumps truth imo. Jews have benefitted from it to some extent (by being an 'oppressed minority', when it suits the grifters to present them that way), but can very swiftly find themselves presented as the villians/oppressors when it suits the narrative. That's what's happening now to some extent - a complex regional conflict boiled down to 'Jews = western = oppressors, Muslims = oppressed'.
Surely Jews have been an oppressed minority throughout history, but is a religious/ethnic minority somehow fundamentally different from a racial minority if they are also subject to discrimination?
I think all three. I also think it is like you stated very complex. I have done a lot of reading on it and you have to go back to the old testament for some of the history. At different points in history they were persecuted for different reasons, sometimes more than one. It is very complex.

It is also interesting that a couple of days after the murder of two cops and an EMT in Minnesota no pictures of the black murderer have appeared on television or the mainstream media. Just saying.
While it is true that we are suffering from a rarity of truth in the reporting and, ultimately in the common narrative believed by too many, the more serious derth is one of courage. It takes an enormous amount of courage to speak truth to power, regardless of the consequences. (talk to Yale’s Milgram about that)

Richard Bilkszto was a tragedy and also an example: Look what happens when educators resist. Public schools are caught between the right's aim to eliminate public everything and the left's cultural revolution. Meanwhile a generation is being radicalized. Appreciate the brave voices fighting this tide.

As evidence, I would cite Claudine Gay, who led the mob that attempted to get Roland Fryer fired from his tenured position at Harvard after he published his research, a fact not mentioned during the brouhaha over her resignation. A privileged black woman leads a mob against legitimate research published by a black man with humble roots, and she is the one perceived as the victim by the woke mob.

Racism is the most important Disruption Device of Goliath. For many years the issue of race disparity, inequities and behaviors, based on past actual events, has been foisted into the present experience. As a result, all races are Disrupted by the measures and countermeasures ’needed’ to overcome the supposed race problem. Whereas if left to our own commonly held human beliefs would be non existent. All reasonable people, which those less infected by Goliath are, want for others what they want for themselves. However, we do have a problem of race today and it is a Reality that Goliath manufactures and perpetuates through its captured institutions.
